I’ve definitely gone through that “should I just do it myself” phase. I ended up replacing a couple of old frames and installing new units from buildmart windows & doors last year. It was a bit of a learning curve, but not impossible with a few YouTube videos and some patience. Honestly, the hardest part was just hauling everything home. Once it was in place, I felt pretty accomplished — plus I saved a good chunk of money by not hiring someone. If you’re comfortable with tools and double-check measurements, it’s worth trying at least once.
