People often say they don’t get enough sleep and don’t even understand why. I always compare it to people who can’t lose weight. They say they barely eat, but forget that they’re actually snacking every hour. It’s the same with sleep. Who among those struggling with bad sleep can easily drink a cup of coffee or tea at night, endlessly doomscroll, or decide to get more stuff done in the evening? All that can be called bad sleep habits to avoid. I wouldn’t call it a terrible habit, but choosing bedding that doesn’t feel nice to sleep on also affects sleep quality.
