Missy Shares If Hormone Replacement Therapy Improves Her Sexual Libido (VIDEO)

Missy describes how hormone replacement therapy works to improve her sexual libido.

Missy:
Libido is a complicated word, right? So, it is tied to our emotional stay, our level of exhaustion or restfulness and hormones. So, when I think about my libido, while I have been taking hormone replacement therapy, I have to be realistic. I have small children and I work full-time so, I am probably not getting the sleep I want or need, but I would say that since I have been on hormone replacement therapy the testosterone has definitely made a difference.

It’s not that I am back to how I felt when I was 20 or 30 and that has been a little challenging, but I would definitely say, when you are on hormone replacement therapy it’s really the art of the science and for me, it has been a matter of changing delivery methods, changing dosage, and really just playing with it and I would say that things are definitely improving, but I am also realistic and know that we need to be patient and let things kind of run their course.
