Plan B cramping

Took plans B on the 21, was ovulating. Took it with in 6 hours of intercourse. Had cramps on my side, which after a few, days moved to my upper stomach. Now 12 days later I still have cramps but now on lower stomach, period like cramps. Spotted a very bit, could barely see it when I wiped. Period scheduled to start on 5th. Concern is not only pregnancy, but eptopic one since my cramps seem to have lasted longer then most I've read.

Hello Anon

Thank you for writing.

Plan B does have some painful side effects for some woman - including quite severe cramping.

A pregnancy test will be accurate in the next 3-4 days so take one and see where you stand. If your concerns are immediate, contact your doctor.
Best,
Susan
