My mom had flu and pnemonia shot. The side she got the pnemonia shot is red, swollen to the elbow. Is this normal?

Hello. Thank you for posting.

Common side effects from the flu and Pneumonia shot are similar and can include:
Soreness, redness, and/or swelling from the shot.
Headache.
Fever.
Nausea.
Muscle aches.
