My SO and I had sex on the 5th of March. We had a condom (which didn’t break) and I stopped him so he didn’t cum. I’m afraid of the precum that could’ve possibly entered. This was the first time I’ve had sex, too. The next day i was spotting brown a little. I was so paranoid that I took a Plan B approximately 44 hours after having sex. Fast forward to the 12th of March, I had bleeding, which was like a period for 5-6 days. Now it has been about 3 weeks since I’ve had sex and taken Plan B. I feel very nauseous and uneasy. I think that I am stressing out too much to he point where I am making myself think that I have these symptoms. Help would be appreciated. I have no other people to talk to and I seriously feel alone in this. Is there a possibility that I am pregnant?

Hello blithsomewonders
Thank you for writing!
There seems to be no risk of pregnancy. Your bleeding after taking emergency contraception confirms this. Be careful about taking EC when unnecessary - you used a condom and there was no ejaculation so there was no need to take it. Taking it "just in case" doesn't help you not get pregnant if you wouldn't have gotten pregnant in the first place. It actually disrupts your cycle like it's doing now.
Pre-ejaculate itself does not contain any sperm. Sperm may be inside the urethra if a man ejaculated recently and did not urinate since. If he urinated since he last ejaculated, there is no sperm at all. Pregnancy is very uncommon from pre-ejaculate and the urethra would have to contain sperm at the same time. A woman would also have to be ovulating and engage in unprotected intercourse with ejaculation.
I think it's a good idea for you to research birth control and it's statistics, as well as Sex Ed in general so you know what's going on.
Your next period should be about a month after your last bleed (after taking EC) so that's about a week from now, give or take.

Thank you for responding. I have been very anxious about this situation. Is there an explanation for my frequent urge to urinate (nothing comes out) and my nausea? I’ve been trying to find answers everywhere, but haven’t found anything..

Thank you so much for your response. That was really reassuring. I still am very scared though. Just today, I constantly had to go to the bathroom and had the urge to urinate, but there was no pain. And I still feel nauseous. Is this a sign of anything? I’m so sorry to bother you with my stupid questions..

Hello
It's ok - we are here to help!
Your nausea may be due to stress, not uncommon. Stress also causes frequent urination. I think your symptoms are anxiety based rather than physical. My advice is to take a pregnancy test so you can see the result for yourself - that way you can relax a little and await your period. Some women really need to see a physical result for reassurance. A test would be accurate by now (follow the directions) and you'll get a result in about two minutes.
