Dr. Beauchamp:
A neoplastic bone tumor is one that is a growth that’s occurring, a new growth that’s occurring in bone as opposed to a developmental abnormality. So, if you had a tumor that suddenly appeared in the bone and began to grow independently, that is a neoplastic tumor.
