As long as the boyfriend is wearing underwear, there is no risk for pregnancy and no need to take an emergency contraceptive pill.
The reason is sperm cannot get past the cloth of the underwear.
An emergency contraceptive is effective in preventing pregnancy if taken within 72 hours of contraceptive failure, like a broken condom.
