If you are certain that your partner did not ejaculate inside your vagina, even though you were in your "fertile" period, there would be no need to take an emergency contraceptive.
However, if some semen did leak out, there is a chance for conceiving. Postinor 2 is effective if taken within 72 hours of unprotected sex. But, it does have side effects and can cause changes in your menstrual cycle.
