Hello! Is plan B effective if I had unprotected sex on day 9 of my cycle, AKA about 5 days before ovulating? Since plan B only prevents ovulation for 5 days, is it really going to make a difference, since I am due to start ovulating at the same time that plan B supposedly stops working? I just want to make sure it's worth taking it at this point in my cycle. I really don't want to take it but also really, really don't want to be pregnant. It's been 24 hours since our mishap and I'll be taking it tomorrow morning, 36 hours after. I am now on day 10 of my typically very regular 29 day cycle.
