Great, I'm glad to hear that you like your doctor, and feel respected by her.
Your doctor will let you know how often you need to be seen. Most women need to go at least once/year just for their "annual exam", but you will most likely need to be seen more frequently throughout your adulthood. In the immediate-term, your doctor will let you know how often she wants to see you, to make sure your procedures were successful and that you are healing well.
I hope you hear from other women who have had a intramural fibroid and a submucosal fibroid; I can do some research into these conditions if you would like more information (versus personal stories).
