Well here it goes, I have a beautiful marriage, and great new baby OBGYN says Birth control is good and suggests mirena. 2 months after baby is born. So my wife lost all her sex drive, i though post pardum depression, she used to be very aggressive very sexual. fast forward 3 1/2 My marriage is ruined we on the verge of divorce my wife cant stand to be touched or kissed or anything. She said we are just friends now and wont even try to think about the possibility of it being mirena because she is sure its not. She said when we make love it feels like Rape. and Cant be touched. I have been married 5 years and Mirena has changed my life, My wife wont beleive or listen and i am loosing my Marriage. She thinks she just not attrackted to me because she is starting to like other Men. IE LONG TERM LACK OF SEX = Marriage destruction. I am praying i have an appointment to get Mirena out this Friday with her. I ask for it to be My last request before our divorce. PS i feel rejected but have always treated her like a queen she is and this is tragic.
