You should be fine. You followed directions exactly -- you only missed one pill, and you took it as soon as you remembered. That right there would probably be enough in itself, but in addition, your husband pulled out. And in addition to that, you were at the very very end of your cycle -- almost ready to start your period -- which would not be the time your body could quickly ovulate. If I were you I would just go ahead and take the placebo pills, have your period as usual and start on the new pack on your regular day.

If you ever have a time when you forget for a longer period of time, or perhaps if your husband doesn't pull out, you can use Plan B, the morning-after pill. It works if you take it within 72 hours of unprotected sex. It's available over the counter from your pharmacist.

This time, though, from the details you gave, it sounds like you'll be fine.
