Hi, my pain has gone on for 4 weeks. I finally convinced my doctor to give me a prednizone pack. It is almost over, however, and I can still feel the pain. I did have a breakthrough, however, in that a nurse said "Yes," the shot was given too high and that the deltoid muscle is in spasm. She suggested a massage therapist or chiropractor. I'm going to try that route. Good luck, everyone.
