I got my flu shot Nov 9th @ walgreens. I've never previously gotten it anywhere besides my pcp. Which I've gotten every yr for many many years with never a problem. My arm is in so much pain! The last couple of days it's also moved to my shoulder blade. I cant even wash my hair w/out letting my arm down to rest. Im taking 800 mg of ibuprofen 4 breakfast, lunch & dinner. I sleep with a heating pad every night & I haven't slept for more than 2 hrs at a time. I called walgreens today. The pharmacist said she has heard if you tense up it will hurt more or it may have hit a nerve & caused inflammation or maybe from a previous injury. I told her I have JD & have been giving myself shots since I was 9. I didn't tense up & certainly had no previous injury. I was perfectly fine b4 getting that shot. You can actually still see the spot where I got the shot. I think it was to far up personally. She said I may need a cortisone shot or steroids. I can't take it anymore so I'm making myself an appt 1st thing in am.
